We started in 1914 as a small manufacturer of ceramic ware in Japan. We transformed our main operation into export. Then we have literally brought hundreds of thousands of high-quality dishes, gift items, novelties, art collections etc. to all parts of the world. In July 1999, J. Smith International, Inc. of Los Angeles was established for the purposes of expanding import/export activities between Japan, the United States, and other countries. The expertise and trust we have gained through these times are what make our business invaluable.
